The Next Step

The Regulus One launch site diorama has progressed to the next step The missile launcher is finished and has been constructed to present it in the elevated launch position with the stabalizing outriggers out or the launcher in the level transportation position Three of the five figures are finished and are modified figures from other kits to represent sailors from the 1950s The next step is to modify the Missile to accept the launch rail slippers so it wll mount to the launcher Then the final two figures will be positioned in the place and attitude they would assume during the launch preparation sequence The final presentation will represent the missile launch site Circa 1957 at NAS Chincoteague, Virginia and will be titled Preparing for Launch. I will definitely have to be able to provide better photos. Hope you like it
