The only trailer i can recall of the top of my head was included with Monogram's B-17 (pretty sure it was the 17).

Jim,
I haven't had much luck finding anything specifically on Saipan. Have seen lots of photos of the Cletrac M2 (the one in the kit) on different bases in the Pacific.

B-24 bomb loading diorama
Posted by jridge on Thursday, July 22, 2004 8:24 PM
I need help putting together a 1/48 scale diorama of a B-24 being loaded with bombs. The time frame is Siapan in mid to late 1944.

What type(s) of bomb loading trucks & carts would have been used?

I've seen pictures of an "M6 Bomb Truck". Would these have been used? If yes, does anyone make them in 1/48? Or, would the catapiller tow tractor that comes with the Revellogram kit have been used?

I've seen pictures of the single bomb carts strung together in trains. Would these have been used Siapan? If yes, are they available in 1/48?

I've also seem what look like flat bed trailers loaded with probably a dozen bombs. Would these have been used on Siapan? Does anyone make these in 1/48 scale?

Any other suggestions will be apreciated.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.
