Alex,

If they are not already gone, email me and I will buy them if you still have them or one. Let me know how much and your address. I am in Canada so I can send you a money order. I am 40 now but one time when I was about 15 my mom left my window and hallway door open and I came home and most of my model aircraft were two rooms away!! Thanks mom. They can be tough LOL.

Sounds like a tough one. I agree with Nord, lets see some photos. I always need a few blown up buildings around. My wife came home from a 3 day holiday and she found I had started some major renovations on our home. She is far happier if I restrict my demolition to models. Email me directly. I am sure we can help you.

Hey man, Email me some info on those and I might be able to help out as well. I gotta Crescendo 175T somewhere (We moved into a house lately and I still have to unpack) that I might be able to get rid of. I hate to see such a nice guy in such a predicament. I know how those moms can be in these financially dificult times. My wife recently gave a me a good butt chewing for some purchases.

The products were 2 verlinden diorama bases one is called "Street with ruined workshop" and the other one is called "City Steet 1945". I just don't want to break the rules of this site and sell anything on this site. I just need some help from fellow modelers.
Thanks a lot!!!

I have to admit that I don't understand why you bought the stuff if you didn't really want it.

The vendor could probably send the stuff back, but will probably be charged a fee for it, and that should be pased along to you. Vendors call this a return fee or reshelving fee.

Clear one thing for me bro... did you buy this stuff with your own money? If you did, and dont want to get rid of this stuff, it was your money. I can apprecaite your situtation, my parents divorced when I was in high school and my mother and I had it very rough. If you wanna sell that stuff to help you and your mom out I can get behind that. If it was your moms money, then yeah sell it off. keep us posted on how youre doing ok.

P.S. emial me with how much this stuff cost ya.. I might be able to help you out.

All right thanks a lot guys I will try my best. What happened at the hobby shop was that the hobby shop is the biggest in the city and I live in the suburbs of Chicago, IL, USA. The hobby shop is five minutes away from my house walking. Everyone at the hobby shop knows me and the manager said that he had to order those products and it would be very rude of me to just leave those products, since he had to pay for them and he for some reason can't return them. Me as a person would never put anyone else into a bad situation, so I decided to buy these things. That is why I bought them. Not that I was dying for them, I accually didn't need them.

Well thanks for the help I will try my best.

Apparently, selling is not allowed on this site. You could try www.armorama.com There is a Searching For, Buy, Sell, Trade forum there. Give a detailed description (with Verlinden kit # and picture would be good too if possible) and the price you want for them. Someone might even trade you an airbrush for them. Good luck.

Sorry to hear that Alex D. I understand your situation as I myself haven't been able to spend that much on the hobby at any one time. It's a big amount of money for me, too. While I cannot offer much help on this one, I can only suggest that you try some members here who might want to buy those bases. A detailed description of the bases will be necessary by the way.

sounds like you have been having bad luck lately. you could try the fsm Classifieds, or ebay, not sure if you will get the price that you want though. i know what its like to have the parents get mad for the amount of money you spend, if you think modeling is expensive, try model railroading Shock [:O](sarcasim, its very expensive), mine got use to my spending. i don't see why you had to buy it, you could have never weant back there, or say i don't want them, bye.

true, you could get a airbrush, but could you get a compresser that costs more too? (the current situation i'm in now)

hope you figure somthing out.

Sorry if I will cause some inconvinience, but I don't know what to do and I thought that I would ask you guys for a suggestion. Well about a half a year ago I went to my local hobby shop and special ordered into the store two verlinden bases. Little did I know was that if you special order something then you have to buy it. So I bought the stuff and the total ended up to be $110. I brought the dio's home and my mom was shouting at me for buying these bases that I didn't even want. So I went back to my hobby shop and told them that I would like to return the ptroducts, and they said that you can't return the special orders for no reason. Now I don't know what to do. My mom is now divorced and we don't have much money. Can somebody tell me any suggestions on what should I do without loosing much of the money.

Truly guys I think you are the best and you helped me out a lot, so can you please give your suggestions and help out a fellow modeler, because for these money I can buy an airbrush.

Thanks a lot.Smile [:)]
