Bunkers
Posted by bbrowniii on Thursday, August 12, 2004 11:45 AM
Hey guys,

Just a quick question. I am building a diorama using the old Verlinden "Tobruk Pit" bunker. I seem to be struggling with weathering it. It just doesn't look 'right' to me.

Anyone have any experience with weathering bunkers? Not too long ago I stumbled across a picture and description of a bunker that someone had built, weathered and put onto a base with some really nice groundwork. There were no figures or vehicles, but the description implied those would come soon. Unfortunately, I never printed the description of how the bunker was painted and I have not been able to find it since!! Angry [:(!]Angry [:(!]

So, any suggestions you want to offer would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Just a question here, could the stippeling also be done with one of those specia "spatter" muzzles on an Aztek airbrush ???

Thanks, I'm going to have to try it soon, since I've just completed my M113 Zelda and I will start working on the dio soon, you'll be able read about it when I start a new topic about it...
oh, by the way this will be my first real dio.

Kenny,

That was not the one I was thinking of, though I did look at it. It is looking good. Post some updated pics when you have a chance to work on it some more.
