Hmm... interesting, I'll look and see what I can find.... in the meantime, what is your source for 1/144 scale figures? I'm kinda in the market for some of them myself. Wink [;)]

Thanks,

Thanks Skip, will check them out. Wink [;)] In the planning stages for a dio or a 1/144 Piedmont Airlines YS-11 sitting on the ramp, door open / stairs down, loading passengers.

dpeacock.... You're right, the old eyes have paid the price for sure! Shock [:O] I figured I'd go ahead and see if I could order some figures, thus eliminating excuses not to start it. I'm currently working on a dio of the sinking Titanic, 1/570 Revell kit, which I used the Tom's 1/600 Rails, Ladders, Stairs PE set, along with six PE figure plates with 120 people on each plate. Talk about 5x Mag Lens!!!

Take care,
Frank

A company called LS made two sets of 1/144 missiles and modern bombs. Recently saw some on E-bay. You might be able to use N scale (1/160) drums and crates. Check your local train shop and take along one of them tiny folks to use as a size comparison!

Just an FYI, my wife just bought me a neat little item from QVC called a "Crafting Glasses with Magnifying Lenses & Light" If you want to see it, search the QVC.com site for item F7704. Works like a charm on my ancient eyes

Ahhh... thanks dpeacock, will definately look into that!! I have about 12 pairs of reading glasses I use for different applications... look like Fred Sanford going through his drawer of glasses, while I'm trying to work!! Big Smile [:D]

Thanks again,
Frank

Good deal will check that out.

I am doing 2 Dio's one of a team arming a B17 bomber and the other of the Enola gay being loading with the Abomb. Both are going to my old high school history teacher to display in his class. Have both models almost done and want to start working on the Dio back grounds. Slow and stead is the word of the day on 1/144 scale for sure.
As always u guys have the best info Smile [:)]
