Another diorama in progress
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, August 20, 2004 3:05 PM
What we have here is the final phase of a Regulus Fleet Training Missile missionCool [8D] The missile has just touched down and the parabreak has deployedTongue [:P] The launch team will recover the bird and turn it around for another missionSmile [:)] The final step of the dio is to show the Able aircraft ( a TV-2 which is an Air Force T-33) that controls the missile during takeoff and landing passing overhead. The TV-2 is now in the process of being builtBig Smile [:D]

Wooooah Richard!! A "froze-in-time" diorama, excellent! The tree line and clouds just make it come alive, thanks!

Take care,
Frank

Thanks all,

For the parachute I sawed a whiffel ball in half, punched holes in the edge and CAed fishing line. So far I have scratch built a 1/155 model, this on is an old Strombecker kit at 1/72 and the third one is scratch built at 1/32 and I am waiting for the custom made decales to finish that diorama. A 1/1, that would be really ambitious LOL.
