Oak Trees/Just regular trees
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, August 26, 2004 3:04 PM
I've found some tips on making trees that include from sea foam (no on around me carries it) and wires and Verlinden even makes some trees. does anyone have a way to make like oak looking trees (for a diorama in Northern France) sea foam seems the best and easiest but like i said, no one around me has it, even the RR store :( heres the sea foam site if anyone wants it: http://users.pandora.be/ronny.noben/website/tips/trees.htm

Seafoam should be available at virtually any craft store or flower shop. It's very common.

If you can't find seafoam try ordering CASPIA. It's a good "tree" builder too. I'll see what I can find for you further from the Canadian side. I know Wal-Mart here has a dried floral selection and has produced some great pieces for "trees" and "shrubs" for next to nothing. Another possible is Dill Weed.

Cheers;
