DOUBLE D, the sign basically says that the road is restricted to military vehicles only. No civilian vehicles are allowed on the the road under penalty of punishment? I've got to bone up on my french.

WOW!! just WOW! awesome dio!! that new fig you added looks like one from the tamiya flak 88 kit.......i love the camo netting on the gun that really looks awesome...
what does that sign say thats by the gun.....??

Again thank you for your comments and suggestions. Zokissima the groundwork is flat styrofoam covered with celluclay and painted w/ flat earth and dark brown and covered with static grass (verlinden) lichen, field grass and course and fine turf. Next time I'm not using the lichen. CAPP the trees are roots from plants but you can make your own. BBrowniii the Pak gun is the Tamiya kit and the loader is from Warriors. The round looks light in his hands cause thats the way his hands came. Again thanks for the comments.

Nice job, TigerII. I can't believe I just stumbled across this now. How have I missed seeing this for the past six months!! Confused [%-)]

One question, which kit did you use? Is it the Tamiya kit?

One comment, to me, the soldier preparing to load the next round into the gun looks odd. I think the issue is the shell looks too light in his hands. It looks like it is resting on his hands rather than being carried in them. Still, I think you did a really nice job.

Thanks for your comments. Gringe, I didn't blacken the muzzle brake because this is a PaK gun that hasn't seen action yet. Usually guns, trucks and tanks held in reserve are usually maintained and cleaned until needed for combat. Normally I would blacken the muzzle of a gun. The figure with the jackboots came with the PaK 40 gun kit, but two figures I had to kitbash. Thank you for the suggestions.

I really like the action in this dio, that is hard to replicate. Great overall job. My only nitpick might be the guy on the right side of the gun, he's wearing jackboots. I'm not sure they wore them much in 1944. Did you scratchbuild some of the figures or were they from some kits. Thanks for sharing all the great pics.

just had another look. really great dio, once again. i just noticed though, that the muzzle on the pak isnt blackened at all. id use some pastels or something similar to achive the soot that would have built up here. otherwise, its awesome!!
