All,
Tonight is Diorama night at our meeting and I am hoping Gavin shows up with his latest builds. If you haven't already, check out some of his other builds in our Gallery (I gave him his own section). There are also a few in the Library display and club meetings sections.

Very clever and well done representation of that scene! Has he also considered doing the one with the lawyer? [:D[

Thanks for sharing this!

The T-Rex is the Tamiya kit in 1/35th.
The Jeep is the old Monogram snap together CJ6 in 1/32nd and I think the people are converted from Preiser but not sure on that.
Here is another pic. These were taken at a library display we had.

That is some amazing skill put to use there. A cool idea and it's well done.
A day in the Corps is like a day on the farm; every meal is a banquet, every paycheck a fortune, every formation a parade... The Marine Corps is a department of the Navy? Yeah...The Men's Department.

That looks very realistic, I can almost hear the screems, the engine and the roar of the T-Rex.
Tell Gavin he did a great job on the di(n)o Big Smile [:D]

Hey all,
Just wanted to show off some of the work by one of our club's premier modelers.

Gavin is a master at the diorama and loves to recreat scenes from movies as well as historical figure settings.
You can see more of his stuff here http://www.ipmsslc.com/photo/index.php?cat=6
Hopefully, he will be at the Gathering next Saturday here in Utah as I can't wait to see his new stuff.
