Yes Dwight, it's back! HeHeHe..!

Thanks everyone. Things have progressed a little since I posted those pics. The ivy leaves have been washed and drybrushed (I still think the're a bit on the large side, but..), rust added to the vehicles (I did not think I had enough!), the seats of the Kettenkrad painted with oils, but above all, I completed the sculpting of the two German guys. I had to re-dress them a little, to make them look more like civilians than soldiers in uniforms! I hope to start the painting of the figures (incl. the poor soldier hanging on on the trunkated T-34) tonight. I also painted the sides of the base in black, making everything stand out a bit more! Expect a finished product by the week end!

Here's a little diorama for you to look at.. Still in its making, as you can see. I'll welcome all comments!

First the setting up of the bigger elements onto a piece of carved expanded polystyrene..

After application of the plaster/glue/paint mixture and a sprinkling of oregano (for the ivy)...

(notice on the paper the other 'greenery' that will be used to conceal the Kettenkrad and the Puppchen)

With the base paint for the ivy...

Still missing are two German 'civilians' caught by surprise by the T-34/85 arrival...

This is 1/76. The bloc of expanded polystirene has a 3in x 3in base. The T-34 is mostly Fujimi, the Kettenkrad and the Puppchen are from SHQ.

By the way, a big thank you to Peter (petbat) for his idea for the title!Smile [:)]
