My opinion is also a Opel Blitz reffuler tanker,a kubelwagen and a bomb load Kart
The figures you have many options in the airfix 1/72 luftwaffe ground personel.
Send some pics after, and good work.(I love luftwaffe dios,I am in final phase of one)

A ketten krad would deffinetly not be out of place. Acdemy and Hasegaw both make on in 1/72. Academys comes in the WWII ground vehicles set. I would recommend this for it also comes with a Kuble wagon. I believe that hasegaws set comes with a motorcycle and side car. Italeri and Hasegaw both make a 1/72 Kuble wagon.
For a truck that would carry tools etc. I know that there were Opel Blitz's. Italeri makes one. For Luftwaffe Ground personel Prieser makes a nice set. Comes with ground crew and pilots and 2 dogs.
so vehicles for the Luftwaffe:
Kettenkrad-hasegaw-Academy
Opel blitz-italeri
Kublewagon-italeri-academy-hasegaw
I think I have covered it all.
Hope this helps.

hey wheres the pic? NEways, yes a kettenkrad would be just fine, guerantee(?) it. would this stuka have the tank buster canons under its wings?? if this is in hte latter part of the war, then that a/c would be pretty well roughed up, specially on the eastern front. no idea on makers tho sorry. theres got to be someone out there makin 'em tho. dont worry someone 'll come along and can tell it to ya strait. sry i couldnt help more....

OK, I'll make it easier- Would a Kettenkrad be out of place in this scenario?

My first diorama, a few questions
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, September 28, 2004 6:16 AM
Hello, all- I've decided to build the ultimate in modeling; the diorama (my first attempt). I've spotted a photo of a Ju-87 Stuka next to a patch of woods. It has tree branches leaning against the front of her wings, for camo, while she's being serviced by ground crew. There's also a ladder propped up on 'er and the crew in varying positions as well.
Here's a question for ya; What would've been an appropriate vehicle employed by Luftwaffe ground crew? One that would carry maintenence supplies to a Stuka (or any) ground-bound bird on the Eastern front in the latter part of the Russian campaign? (drums, ladders, tools, ect.) This will be made in 1:72 scale. Names of the vehicles and the model manufacturers that produce them is what I need from you good folks!!
This is not in the photo, but my addition. Thanks, be good!- Craig
