thanks for the congrats zokissima and tigerman. tiger the bunker is from verlinden heavy machine gun bunker kit 114. i am gonna add some left behind field items from the german army maybe some helmets weapons ammo boxes and such . definately gonna leave alot of empty shell cases around. the idea of the dio is pretty much an abandon bunker that the army is clearing to make sure no one is left .
zokissima i built up the land formation with das modeling clay i baked it dry then sprayed it with a mixture of earth tones . after that i used verlinden static grass two types i forget the names but one was basically summer green and the other was the autum color i mixed those together and applied them to the base. the paths were made from kids play sand that i picked up from home depot. the fence posts were made from match sticks. i temporarly glued a soldier to the base and measured the posts about waist high. the barbed wire is also from verlinden and i havent decided if i am gonna use the cammo netting i bought from verlinden yet.
thanks for stopping by and looking as it progresses i will take more pics and post them
happy building all!

Congratulations on the addition to the family Big Smile [:D]

Very nice progress. What did you use for the grass, road, and the fence?

Congratualtions Kenny on your new baby.

Was this scratchbuilt? If so, very nice job. Are you going to add a Pak 40 or something?
