Build looks pretty good overall.
Couple thoughts:
The German's right arm position is awkward. What's he doing?
The guy on top is very exposed to potential enemy fire.
The other guy has let the German get awful close without his buddy covering him.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

i thought that about the german's right arm also, but that's how verlinden said to do it....Confused [%-)] he and the captor are a pair from a kit..... the "exposed" GI is from another kit where he's leaning over a dead german............. good points though and thanx.......

Well yeah, but just because the instructions said to do it that way, doesn't mean you had to do it that way.

That being said, I really like the dio. I actually think the odd look of the german's arm might be more due to the angle of the photos than to the way he is actually built.

Good job.

Very nice dio. Arm does look alittle awkward, but that's o.k. Gives your dio some character!! Take care.

I found the arm angle weird on that kit also.

I built mine up as if he was reaching for the sky because he was at gunpoint and was told to reach for the sky or have his head blown off Evil [}:)] .... wouldn't you? Evil [}:)] Wink [;)] Evil [}:)] Wink [;)]

Pics seemed a little blurry or something but it looks pretty good. That was one I was thinking about getting for Christmas but I decided on the Flak Emplacement and Tobruk Pit instead.

Where did you buy yours and how much was it?

I don't know if it's the same one or not but www.best1hobby.com has a Verlinden 1/35 Heavy Mg Gun Bunker Base Set for $14.16
I don't believe it comes with figured though because there are none pictured.
That is where I am getting my Atlantic Wall Flak Emplacement and Tobruk Pit from.

NIcely done, the few I've built never had the story line impact. Wierd right arm? Shep Paine said to show extreme movemant to get your idea across, action caught in motion by cameras always seem awkward to me and extreme
