Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg] I would like to first give a BIG ELVIS and say "THANKYA, THANKYA VERRY MUCH" to all the great comments on my first diorama. I'll let everyone know that I though someone would say something about the antennas, and thank you for not, but I'm going to change them out. Next, I do have a few questions that i hope someone can help me out with. Question [?]Question [?]Question [?] No. 1: What is the largest size a dio can be to enter into a IPMS competition? Thought someday I might think about entering one. No2: How about making fire? Has anyone made or had success with making good-looking fire and a lot of black smoke? My next dio is going to be depicting Hellborne 215, an A-4E, and the Loss of Jolly Green 23. I've been wearing the MIA bracelet for over 20+ years of Capt. Walter R. Schmidt, the driver of Hellborne 215; I am planing and hoping to donate this dio to the new USMC Museum in Quantico VA. If you would like to read about June 9th 1968 just go to google and type in Hellborne 215 or Jolly Green 23. Next question No3: I can't find a 1/72nd Jolly Green HH-3E or even a CH-3 I found a HH-53 Super Jolly but no luck for the HH-3E. If anyone knows, or has, and wants to sell please let me know, thanks... As far as how I did the water for who have enquired

FSM magazine back in march 2004 ran "diorama /how to modeling water" everything I needed to know. But here's the step by step. I built my base then covered it with woodland scenic (plaster cloth) I made sure not too have any holes in the plaster cloth. Next I used folk art acrylic paints to paint the plaster & blended the colors together. After painting the plaster cloth, I used (Enviro Tex Lite) according to the directions on the box. I did only put in 1/2 on to start with, I did used a propane torch to get rid of the bubbles. Next, I finished by pouring in and filling to the edge the 2nd batch of (Enviro Tex Lite) I put a few drops of Tamiya Color Acrylic Paint (clear blue), before I put the non stick "Reynlods Release Aluminum Foil" I took a propane torch to it to get rid of the bubbles. Good luck and any more question give me a ring.

Again THANKS FOR ALL THE COMMENTS look foward to the futher and don't ever forget "GONE, BUT NOT FORGOTTEN" HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL. Smile [:)] Smile [:)]
