Superb work, Sasd!
Excellent drybrushing.

I have a question about this picture:

Is that seam on top of the .50 cal supposed to be there? I've always removed it from my builds, but I'm not entirely sure if it's a mold seam or actual detail on the Ma Deuce.

Again, excellent work!

I have to say, real nice build. I am working on one myself as I write this, of course, I am working on five different pieces right now...
Anyway, I have a friend that has a Ma Deuce for real and there is no seam line. The ammo cover is flat as is the rear of the reciever

Oops, guess I should make that clear too about aftermarket stuff,if one of my many good modeling buddies throws an alluminum barrel my way I will use it but otherwise I don`t use aftermarket stuff at all! Anything extra that I want to add I scratch. So all builds are OOB.
No worries in the build Skar, just build it! It`s a pretty nice kit.

Thanks Von but I`m not a modelmaster, just been buildin em a long time,ya get set in your ways of doin things and after a while you get to sort of know what to expect wether your build is going smoothly or not.

Looks very good.
So many Ma Deuce molds have that seam problem you'd think kit was supposed to be there!
There also appears to be a seam on the brace/support from the front to the rear of the turret. The spare tracks on the glacis look like they were painted the same color as the tank. I'd have left them a rusted metal color.
The guy holdiing the carbine sitting on the rear deck side looks like he's dropping the gun. Surgically turning his hand 90 degrees so the palm faces inwards would allow him to hold the gun more naturally.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.
