what is a good way to make snow for a winter scene diorama, and how do you apply it?

I learnd this from a fellow modeler. Just use baking poweder! As soon as you got the poweder in position just use a fine mist of hairspray to harden it all up. I did the same thing today with my dio!

I personally don't use foodstuff (baking soda/powder, or flour) for dio snow. It will yellow and/or be eaten by bugs over time. Woodlands Scenics Snow is the best product out there.
