I am too embarassed with the slow pace of my work this year. Blush [:I] But I guess having a new baby in the house really slows things down.Wink [;)]
Anyway got the ruins painted before I proceed with the details like windows, doors, signs, furniture and debris...(hmmm still lots of work)

So here is how it looks for now...

It's just coming along beautifully Dwight. I've kind of been taking notes as I'm going too attempt to do my first real diorama for the "Early Tiger Build". Big Smile [:D] Only problem is that it will be out on the Russian plains somewhere, so buildings are most likely not going to figure into the plan. Still looking for a theme. I'm sure my dio will not even begin to measure up to the fantastic work you doBow [bow] but I'll come up with something. Oh!Black Eye [B)] Congratulations on your new arrival! I didn't even realize you were a new daddy? I know you must be happy. See ya around the forums. Semper Fi, mike

Mike,

Actually he is 7 months old now and a bit more restless. LOL. My third kid after 2 girls 7 and 3.

Well your plains will need no buildings, I agree but definitely lots of grass and probaly bushes.

Thanks and good luck in your dio.

What's the diorama going to be about? I need to do one someday.

Kamusta na Dwight, I've been thinking of making a dio out of my japanese-captured M3, similar to what you're doing right now, I'm thinking of it running through the streets of Manila. I hope you dont mind me asking, but can you give me tips and what you use in making your ruins/ street? They look great. Smile [:)]

Hi, beans. I made some explanations on how I made the ruins in the link below. Just scroll to the middle of the page.

I have been planning to make a Fort Santiago ruin for a Sherman diorama, too but haven't started yet. Good luck.
