I'm looking for ideas for a Pacific theater WWII dio with these two items, got any clues where to look and what to build? Both are 1/35th scale.Smile [:)]

Tell you what, how about my second idea. You gonna need the really old Italeri Marine figure set, the one with the wounded GI on the stretcher. Have the wounded going out on the Buffalo and more GI coming in on the LCVP. Yeah, I like it, WAIT was that my first idea.....Big Smile [:D]

What scale and where did you get the LCVP?

Oh, and I guess you could have a scene where the two collide or something.

The LCVP is available from two sources. The older Lindberg offering is not bad, it says 1/32, but is closer to 1/35. The newer offering is the Foundrie Minatures 1/35 LCVP. It is a pricy multimedia affair that I have not heard any good news about. Details are weak and it is over engineered with plastic, resin, and white metal pieces. I would stick with the Lindberg one and detail it out if that is what you are looking for.

welcome cubscoutSign - Welcome [#welcome] you might like to check out my dio on page 8 or 9 called now, then forever, my first dio, it my be of some help as far as info goes. i used amtrac.org they have some great stuff. i used the italeri lvt-4 and had 0 problems with it. hope this helps & good luck can't wait to see photos.
