I would have to agree with ArmorMaster on that. That is some wonderful detail for 1/72nd. Tiger33

that's an awesome dio hemble and for 1/72 scale no less, looks more like a 1/35. sweet sweet work man, great job. just one question though, what did you make the base out of? im thinking of making one for my Ardennes King Tiger and i have no clue on how to make a base yet, creative juices arent flowin just yet.

I was never really good at modeling 1/72 scale. I favor the 1/35th myself but that is just incredable work that you have done with that. Thumbs Up [tup]

Aftermarket - the grills come with the kit and boy I'm glad they did I have'nt found anything small enough to look like like grills.

Box-stock - No I also do 1/35 in armour and do 120mm figures for commission work and 1/6 scale figures as well

Ah, I love to see 1/72 dios, especially when they are this good! The whole setup, theme, looks great! The tools even look like they are of scale. Figs look good too. Thanks for sharing! Smile [:)]

Very well done, Ron, the KT looks very detailed. Groundwork is great, a nice overall feel to the scene.

One reason I stay well away from 1/72....is the figures. Yours look great, attention to the detail is great, but I've seen alot of 1/72 figures in my LHS, and they all look the same, they look like elves!

Keep up the great work Ron, thanks for sharing the pics!

Kingtiger under repair 1/72

Hi All

finished this little dio the other day and I'm really happy with the way it turned out, let me know what you think.

The Kingtiger is from DML built straight from the box
The figure are from AB miniatures
The bushes and grass are from woodland scenics
The cobble stone is some left over HO which was washed with some black and brown.
The 44gal drums,jerry cans and crates are from Acadmey
The tools and maps are from Verlinden 1/35 set I just used the smallest tools they had and with the maps I just cut them down to size.
