Thanks so much for all kind compliments! I really appreciate them!

Ryan, "Art Instructor" is not a masked man, he's been building armors and dioramas for me and my site for many years (he's completed some 300 pieces over the years) and I have his picture in my Page 10 and Page 12 D. Here's the picture from Page 10 :

I hope you'll recieve it as a constructive comment:

I've seen your work for a long time now, and there is great improvement in the vehicle painting and level. art instructor is particularly good.

but I feel the bases are lacking - they are too simple.

I think you should work on your diorama technique, as it does worng to your vehicles, and is very two dimensional.

Thanks so much Dave, for your kind compliments!

braxat2000, so you've been a long time fan of my site, it's nice to hear from
you for the first time.

It's not "Art Instructor"'s fault, I believe he's done his best. There are many
contraints affecting his making of dioramas. Firstly it's material contraint.
Diorama materials are very scarce here - no Woodland Scenic's products
and the likes. Secondly it's budget constraint. He can't use "numbered paint"
such as Gunze's or Tamiya's because they're damn expensive. He has to
use industrial paints and mix all the colors by himself which takes time.
Thirdly it's time constraint. Unlike most modelers who work on one box
at a time, he has to work on 5 pieces of armors and dioramas (6-7 boxes)
at a time, all of which are expected to be finished in just 2 weeks or so.
Think of it this way, I want the best of both worlds - quality and quantity
and I don't mind trading off (some of) the former for (more of) the latter. Wink [;)]

Many thanks for your kind words, sharpspade! He used industrial paints for armors, but for figures he used oil paints.

BTW, yesterday I took pictures of 6 new pieces of work from him (3 armors, 2 AA guns and one dio). So my new page will be available Monday evening, which I'll post as a new topic here. Stay tuned....Smile [:)]
