Really some great work on the weathering of the Mercedes. The partial burned out building goes well with the whole scene itself. Thumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup]

I do admitt I do things in rather quick fashion and I have completed a huge number of vignettes and dios,it`s just like Kelly said ya get an idea in your head and ya know exactly how you want it to look ya run with it! It also helps if one has a system down which makes things easy and run smoothly.

Many thanks gents,at first glance it was an ugly duckling,no suspension, very little interior detail. The tires were ok and I liked the fact that the front sterring worked. It did take a major effort to bring it back to a static model status but well worth it in the end.

Yet another cool build Russ, it's amazing what you can do with the really old stuff. The jagpanther I'm working on is ancient, and man it's a beast. Some pieces missing, but I'm managing.
Zokissima, I believe Plus Model now makes that type of staff car? You're right, it's expensive alright! Yikes!

Nicely done. I don't remember which AM guys market one now, but it's too expensive for my tastes.
Simple and sweet, executed very nicely, as per usual Big Smile [:D]

Nice! That is a unique kit and makes for a good dio, too.
A day in the Corps is like a day on the farm; every meal is a banquet, every paycheck a fortune, every formation a parade... The Marine Corps is a department of the Navy? Yeah...The Men's Department.

This is a very early rendering of the model, not sure of the maker but it came motorized and was meant to be Hitlers staffcar in twotone light beige and black.
With a little work it can be changed back to a nice field staffcar. Here I have depicted the car with Rommel in Normandy.
