hi,
I wlays liked the style of your dioramas. this is particularly nice, as it uses height dimension as well :). I should try this too in the future, it is really great.

Its been all said before, but this is one impressive diorama.
The weathering is outstanding.

Thankyou very much guys, Doing desert dioramas are really quite easy to set down, specialy if the terrain is all sand. Sorry for the spelling, never was one for any schooling, went to work after grade 11,that was as far as I could stand, lol!

Thankyou all,the groundcover consists of a couple of pieces of pink foam draped with
tissue and soaked down with whiteglue and water. Plain brown sand from Micheals was used and again soaked with whiteglue and water. Here I used an eyedropper to
apply the glue and in doing so created the windblown ripples in the sand. The outcropping was painted a desert colour and washed in a dark brown,I did not drybrush
afterwards. A rust colour pastel was used to hilite. Two resin skulls were added one of which is evident in the fourth pic,to give the region that forboding effect.

awesome!! very well done sasd. the positioning of the figures really gets the story across, i love the detailing and paintjob on the truck, it looks great. the gournwork realisitcally reflects the terrain these units fought in, and the rock formation provides both interest and cover for the men observing enemy positions and formations. great work man, u just churn'um out like nothin!
