New pics of my Ferrari diorama
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, May 3, 2005 2:13 PM
Here are some pictures of my newest creation. This is a 512 TR Ferrari, which I picked up at a garage sale for $3.00 (and that's Canadian, so about $.50 American!!hahaha). Anyways, I scratch built the diorama, which turns at 1 rpm, and the overhead lights and back-lit emblem on the rear wall all light up. I hope you like it!!

Click on the pictures in his message. They should get larger for you.

Nicely done. The curtains look a little out of scale, but the model looks fantastic.

Curtains out of scale? Well, Sammy, get you one of those 1/24 scale bikini clad figures and stand her beside the car, and no one will pay any attention to the curtains! Big Smile [:D]

Beautiful work, thanks! Smile [:)]
Take care,
Frank

Thanks for the input guys.......what do you mean the curtains look out of scale....I'm not questioning your judgement, just looking for ways to improve my work......are you referring to the pleats???
Thanks again....and I will look for a model.....great idea

Looks nice, did you spray paint or air brush it?

I airbrushed it with Model Masters Italian Red enamel.
