Yep, rebelreenactor found the one that I was thinking of! Good find. I'd think you with some patience and more skill than I have, you could mod that kit to what you wanted.
A day in the Corps is like a day on the farm; every meal is a banquet, every paycheck a fortune, every formation a parade... The Marine Corps is a department of the Navy? Yeah...The Men's Department.

there are some good 1/20 and 1/24 ones... but I haven't seen any smaller either
the 1/20 ones work good with MAK stuff, cheap too, look for the Baywatch truck on ebay

That "Iraqi technical" by Hobbycraft is a Chinese car with a 106mm recoilless.

The die-cast will probably be his best bet IMO.

There is a model of a Iraqi technical truck that Hobby Craft has out that could work.

I may be wrong, but I think there is a resin 1/35 version of the Toyota Land Cruiser that would work for you. I'll try to find a link, but no guarantees.

I think there were a couple of versions that were available, one had a recoilless rifle mounted on it.

Sign - Ditto [#ditto]...not many plastic trucks or cars in the 1/35 scale range.

One option would be to look in the Toy department of a store and see if there are any die cast trucks that may fit in the 1/35 range. I'd bring along a 1/35 figure as a guide. You may luck out.

I'm planning to do a diorama of the early days in Afghanistan. I've seen the pictures of the Special Forces guys driving around in white toyota pick-ups or some other type of pick-up. Does anybody know what kind of trucks they are and if they are made in 1/35 scale?
