it might be easier if you had some kida wheel with track links all the way around it
so you could just set the tank on the celluclay just for refference then you could use your wheel to make the imprints. just mark the wheel for what the track pattern is then you'll always have the wheel for more patterns?

Add a few drops of dish soap to water. Spray this water on any object and press it into the celluclay to make in impression. The light soap water will help release it from the celluclay.

Before the celuclay sets up and drys take the tracks or wheels from your kit and press them into the celuclay. Either on the vehicle or off. (Just remember if off to properly space them) as for foot prints I made sets of feet from some extra figures I had laying around and "walk" the figures across the surface. I actually have several of these, some with hob nails some with ridges and waffled soles and heels,dependent on the nationality and time period. Everyone always has some extra figs and its worth the extra effort for the end result. If you dont have the extra figs, use the feet of the figures you are going to add to the dio.

I need to know how to make track prints (from tanks and other vehicles)& footprints on a diorama if you are using celluclay . any tips would be greatly much appreciated.
