Furniture for 1/35 Scale?
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, June 19, 2003 2:20 PM
Does anyone know of any decent source for ready made furniture for dioramas? I live in Annapolis, MD and my search for furniture has reached an end. Ive been to every doll house shop in Annapolis, Columbia, Laurel and Ellicott City...to no avail. It seems all doll furniture is made either on a 1" or 1/2" scale...neither of which really 'works'.

Im sure others have posted similar queries, I just havent been able to find any...

Sic Semper Tyrannis,

Sean

You might also want to try something from HO train kits. I think they might be the right size. I could be wrong, but I think I remember reading that somewhere.

Hi Citadel,
How about scratchbuilding the furniture by using plastic card? If you have photo references, photocopy it to scale ( use a figure for comparison ) then transfer/trace it onto plastic card, cut out and paint. It works.
