Bloody hell, you really don't get an idea of the size until you see the battery in shot. Nice effort Harshman Thumbs Up [tup]

very well done!! I build one of a Tiger tank rolling through a destroyed section of town! The building and the partial rafters were also built. The dio is so small, my crappy digital camera can't pick it up!!

No offense, but, is that the pre-painted 1/144 Dragon collectors piece (toy) that you simply put on a base? If so, it is not really modelling or a diorama. It is simply taking a prepainted, diecast toy and putting it on a base. I don't get the whole appeal to pre-assembled and pre-painted models, especially that small. It is even smaller than matchbox cars. I wouldn't consider anyone putting them on a base and calling it a diorama or a model either. Sorry, just don't get it.

LOL!!! I nvr call me it model and why it cannot be called a diorama? Since a self-built background is given. BTW,the hightlight and weathering is done by me and it is no Dragon set.Dragon don have armour 1/144 scale. It is a Cando set. I saw once a China brand 1/144 armour model but the price is more expensive than the painted and made Cando set and is not v worth it regarding the detail. Trumpeter also sell made and painted 1/144 armour one but the detail is worst than Cando one.The only thing good abt trumpter one is it got a clear case for display.

The Cando tank was orignal in plain camouflage scheme with no weathering and highlighting of details. I used black poster with soap on it.

Same as everyone else said, just like darson said, you dont realize how small it is until you see the battery.

I agree that the poster didn't model the tank, but then neither did he say that he was. As a model railroader, I know that it's perfectly possible to buy a Ready To Run engine in 1/160th scale, plunk it down on pre-laid track, and then spend years building a reasonable set of scenery, buildings, etc. around it. I don't think anybody would say "that's not a model railroad."
