Is there such a thing as a 1/72 scale aircraft hanger kit ? .

Not that I know of , ... but Revell have just released a Typhoon with a Hardened Aircraft Shelter

Its $36.99 on this site. Just be advised its a NATO type hanger..So if youre doing a WWII diarama this may not be what you want if your concerned with it being correct or not. Good luck!

I also looked around at some places that have some rare stuff and sorry no luck..If that hardened structure in the typhoon kit doesnt work..youre going to have to scratch it.Disapprove [V] sorry

I wanted the hanger for a modern day light aircraft / glider grass airfield dio for my model railway layout.

I have a lot of 1/72 scale civil aircraft , but I wanted a WW2 type hanger and some modern gliders, there are some east european , I think Polish kits ?, of gliders, but I have been unable to find any.

I think I will put this on the back burner for now , and come back to it in the future.

if i were you id pick up some graphing paper so a 1: 1 scale drawing of the ideal hanger you want. post it on FSM and get some feedback on how to build it, i would be more than happy to assist you in anything you may need !
