Pak Dio Photoshopped
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, July 4, 2005 8:07 PM
After originally posting this in the odds and ends forum, some people suggested I should post it here instead:

I just wanted to share this photo with you all. It was originally a pic of a pak 36 dio I made, but I added the background and some other effects in photoshop. Let me know what you think:

That is awesome.

If I had seen that photo somewhere else I would have thought it was real.

I think you may have started a new trend...

That's pretty neat. You know you've done a good job when you can't tell where the photoshop begins and the model ends. Nice indeed.

That looks really...real! If you hadn't told me it was a dio, I probably wouldn't have figured it out.

The perfect background pic really puts this diorama over the top. It just looks so fluid, you swear the Pak gun just took out that tank. Nice job.

Very nice effect, I like how you blended the model into the background with a brown hugh. Great job!

Your shot looks really good. Here are some tips from another photoshop user.

Make sure the background is somewhat blurry depending on depth. The forground stuff looks too blurry from that point of view. Some of the lines and shadows dont match the background. Also this my thoughts on the comp of the shot. Have the smoke comming in from the left with the wind blowing right . That way if you follow the smoke down it leads you down the figurges. Also one thing i do is take the shot and put it in blackandwhite and stand back and see how the shades and colors are. I use photoshop alot and am a pro videographer/photographer so these things might not be noticed by some. Your shot looks really good and you should be proud to display it.
