Thanks again guys

Scratchbuilt - the zimmeritt is already molded onto the kit Dragon did a wonderful job on the zimmeritt but yes it is slightly over done but hay it save me from doing it hehe.

also I know what you mean about the heads it took me 2 mths to find these figures which in my opion beats 90% of the smaller scale figures hands down.

Fine work! A well-peopled scene with a lot of movement.

As mentioned, excellent job painting the figures, but I wonder why most 1/72 and 1/76 figures have such monstrously oversized heads?

Also, is the zimmerit applied, or did it come molded on the kit? It seems a bit overstated.

None of which affects the overall effect of the diorama, which is great!

A nice one indeed, the figures are painted excellent but the strange proportions of the figures sometimes give the impression of some military comic book scene. Some really look like dwarfs. And the weapons are much too big - maybe exchange the weapons will improve the look.
But a nice dio anyway.

Ron.
That is one outstanding diorama specially in such a small scale. Everything looks great and the figures look fantastic for 1/72.
Beautiful work.

I'm surprised to see such "animated" figures in 1/72. Great job.

On The Move 1/72 (7pics)
Posted by hemble on Tuesday, July 12, 2005 10:27 PM
Hi All

I've been away on a working holiday for a while and thought I would get back into it with a 1/72 dio of the German Army on the move.

1: the Tiger is built from parts from DML and Revell.
2: the kubelwagon is from Academy
3: the figures are all from AB miniatures

the figures and vechiles have been painted with Tamiya and GW paints the grass, bush and shrubs are all from woodland scenics.
