i made a cheap snow dio. i spent only $5 making it... (excluding the kit)
i spent it on putty and molded the snow out of that then with a toothbrush i made little holes and painted it all blue and drybrushed it white and then added trees from bushes growing in my yard

What scale is it?
I did a 1/72 scale summer diorama by going to a work
site and geting sawdust, and glueing it to wood then spray painting it.
Now you can to the same but paint it white.
For trees look outside.
If this works for you great, if not thats okay.
