Modge Podge
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, July 28, 2005 10:52 PM
Hey guys!

I have heard about this "modge podge" stuff for snow, can someone post me some pictures of their work for me using modge podge? I would really appreciate it! And for the base, usually celluclay or sculpt-a-mold in my case, do I need to paint it white? Will you be able to see it under the modge podge?
thank you for all of your suppot so far guys, hope you can elp me out!!

Mod Podge dries clear,. it's engineered for use in decoupage. It could work as water, but not snow. There are arts and craft products for snow and several modeling products as well. Look for Huson & Allen Snow or slush.

The water on the stand of this hellcat was done using mod podge, I painted the base light blue and then put the mod podge on, when it got tacky i roughed it up with a brush and then painted the other blues and greens on the top of the dried mod podge. after the paint dried i put another light coat of mod podge down

you can mix it with like woodland scenics snow I think, and it comes out good, but make sure first, don't take my word for it, I don't really have any experience with the subject.
