I use a technique called sprue rubble, where you take cut up peices of sprue and stack em and pile 'em to create small walls and rubble.

hope this helps. Oh, and the sprue has to be rectangular

You can use wood for the shapes. Get some spackle or similar product to create the wall texture. You can make windows or broken windows from the plastic packages you get pretty much anything from the stores in.

Depends on the type of wood you have. Many grains would look out of scale and you'll have to cut it to scale size as well. A 2 by 4 in 1/35 would be .057 by .114 inches.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

it all depends on the scale, im making a 3 story house in 1/35 and i got a piece of thin wood, cut out the windows, and doors, and all the holes made by artilery, and bullets, paint, add texture with spackle (i use water putty just add water maybe add white glue and u have putty) make floors with balsa, then the interior of the house and there u go!!

blown up houses: do the same thing as above except more holes, (look at a pic) and no interior just A LOT! of rubble

I made my walls out of plywood and put a layer of joint compound(same as spackle, I think) and then the floor joists are long strips of balsa and more balsa for floorboards. I put up pictures one time, but I think that was before the floors were in and I dont have a good camera.
