Looks good, I cant do 1/35 that well. And any time I have incomplete figs on my dios for positioning anybody sees it they say something like, "Are thier arms shot off?" or something like that...
by the way...look at http://www.kettenkrad.de/restore.htm Its kind of interesting.

Actually the faces got a base coat (keeping each one a little different) then each one had oil paint (again different shades) wiped into them and then after about an hour the excess was brushed off wiping down to accentuate the direction of light. Then I used straight Titanium white to highlight leaving very little paint on the brush and sort of dry brushing in a downward motion. Blending really wasnt necessary for the majority of the figures just some touch ups here an there. The celluclay was dyed while mixing it with RIT dye so that any area I missed painting would not be grey. some of it is different shades cause I've had to touch up some of the areas with more C-Clay.

Very nice indeed, your setting and idea are quite good, the foot bridge is a nice touch as is the m8 on the vehicle bridge. The only thing I have trouble with and I hope you will be changing or adding is the colour of the groundcover, otherwise, right on keep em coming!

Actually the bases will come off and pins will go in I just left them to make it easier to move them around until I found some thing that worked. The Ketten krad and the Jeep came from the Academy kit I just left out the Kubelwagon. The GMC's are Heller/Airfix, by the way buy the Airfix kit it's exactly the same kit but half the price cause it doesnt come with paint and brush. The Sherman is the Italeri kit which I added applique armor to cause from what I understand this vehicle didnt exist like that but the Allies did take 1-200 late hulls and put 75 mm turrets on them for the Normandie invasion (thats my story and Im sticking to it). The M-8 is also Italeri and a very nice kit. The figures are mostly Italeri which are great and I also put in some of the Mirage M-3 Grant figures (supurb figures buy the way). The GMC's are part of the Redball so this is my first attempt at painting African American troops, the figures are resin and as nice as the Mirage figures. The vehicle bridge is scratch built, ahd the foot bridge is out of a Fujimi kit and heavily modified. This is also my first attempt at water and is the realistic water from Woodland Scenics. All the captured Germans are from the Revell Horse drawn FH Artillerie kit, very nice except that its vinyl and is hell to paint. Another pic sorry about the quality Ill post some better ones later

Sign - Ditto [#ditto] I agree, it tends to draw attention from the realism.

Very nice so far! Wow, sometimes this scale is hit or miss, you've captured the scene perfectly, well done, it's gonna look great when it's done.
