You have done an excellent piece of work. I usually look at the figures in a diorama, because they represent that human element. If you do a decent job on the figures then the rest of the dio usually falls into place. My only question is what did you use for the tall grass undergrowth? It looks very realistic.

Thanks again guys!!This was a fun one.Abdiel,They're Apoxie sculpt and aluminum from the seal of a coffee can.I even held the tops up to a figures hand to judge the size of the heads. I've got a swail that looks alot like that out my back door. When I saw a pict. of a Hetzer in a swail in France it reminded me alot of the ones I grew up Pheasant hunting!!

I can see the grass pressed into the tracks just fine. Where'd you get the cattails...they're a nice touch.

Well, there really is grass mixed into that mud behind.Being from farming country around here I've been in a few bogs.I guess the picture doesn't show it so well. Thanks for the heads up anyway!!

Very nice work. That thick underbrush looks excellent. On that note, if the vehicle was driving into the thick underbrush, would it not press that into the ground. At the back, where the vehicle is pressed into the mud, there are just muddy tracks. I would think that with THAT much foliage, there would be quite a bit of it evident in the wake of the vehicle. Other than that, very alive and balanced. Excellent work.

Thanks Eric!!! It's the DML Command kit. Fun to build. I did the kit back awhile ago and finally got the base done. That's why all my builds are weathered alittle to start 'cause hopefully they'll end up on some sort of base, dio, vig. Thanks again buddy!!

Good job on that small diorama. Very effective base that blended well with the kit figures.

I also would like to add that you have a great atmosphere made, and a base to go along with it, the soldiers are looking very well too better than most ive seen, nice job.

Good job, stug! The weathering, figures (especially with the five o'clock shadows) and terrain really come together. One of he first things I always look for are the tracks in the terrain to make sure the dio/vignette doesn't give off that 'hovered in look' and you nailed it...excellent.

Hey all. I know i don't venture here much but I finally stared to put some of my builds where they belong. All the picts. i post are weathered vehicles and I say" They're eventually going into a dio" So here's my Hetzer, I still need work on my figures but at least she's got a home now. Gotta get to work on all the others!!! Too many GBsBanged Head [banghead]
