hi nebelwerfer, and welcome to the site, first thanks for the compliments and im honoured to get your first post and secondly i only started building models at the beggining of this year and most of the tricks i picked up from people here or at armourama.com these places have lots of folk who are always willing to share info so if you have any questions or need any help just post it and theres always someone who will jump in and help.

Amazing piece of work, and all the more so because you scratch built so much of it yourself. This is my first post here so Hi to everyone. At the moment I can only dream about creating something remotely as good as this but I am certainly inspired to try. Thanks for sharing

thanks again for the replys, shtepsela hi there the grass was done useing some old grass rope cut off about a quarter of an inch at a time and glued useing white glue then when almost dried i ruffle it a bit to make it look un uniformed and rough, thanks for looking.

Superb dio...you said "everything was scratch built" Becouse I have problems of finding easy way to make scratch built grass....Can you explain how did you make the grass in the area around the propaganda cameraman??? Thanks for sharing the dio

Excellent job...great composition. And it goes to show you don't have to throw a lot of money into after-market items to produce a good diorama.

thanks gringe i appreciate the kind words, everything was scratch built here
the trussle was cast from plaster and carved with different sharp objects
the tracks were balsa wood
the ballast was sand
the vines were wire wool glued in place then spray glued and sprinkled with herbs (really liked the way the vines looked and cheap and easy to make)

Here’s my latest effort. Finished about a month ago thought I'd try something a little different, the scene depicts an early war video and picture shoot for propaganda purposes showing the axis troops on the move, thanks for looking.
