making water with glass

Anyone know how to make water (plus waves) with glass? I personally think glass is the most realistic material to make water. You can just make white splashes with crushed glass powder. I saw it once in a museum and it looks awesome. Anyone knows how?

Yes I have. You have to find the old style of glass that has waves in it it works great. Not the stuff they use now. I found mine at a glass specialist.
