If you are planning to make your dio in the spring or fall, just include mud. If the dio is during the battle, there would be lots of rubble. The rubble and mud where a huge anti tank obstacle.

Dragon's Teeth are a German gig. Russians used a lot of anti-tank ditches, "hedgehogs", mines and in wooded areas, log barricades. Their lovely roads were enough of a hindrance by themselves.

I know ditches were built to defend Moscow and most likely a lot of other places.
