The flags are from an air recognition set that I recieved quite sometime ago,they are printed on paper and have been treated so that all one has to do is soak in a mix of white glue and water and drape and shape. If you print some out on your computer make sure you seal the colours or you will have a mess!

Thanks very much guys, never thought of doing a book but yeah guess it would be fun at that. I have taken a bit of time away from the diorama scene since the show in September to concentrate on building and converting individual Allied vehicles. There is however a dio right around the corner using some of the new vehicles and frankly I`m chomping at the bit to get started but want to have a variety of vehicles to choose from.
There will be lots to look at!

This is a great impression scene. The emphasis on the ruin, the extra work on the rubble, the really well-done tattered flags, really speaks loudly.

The uncharacteristic weathered and worn look of the equipment and people drives home a definite downfall and crumbling of the Nazi regime.

Looks great as usual. Thanks for the tips and keep 'em comin'. You, know, you show do a book on your diorama's. You have to be one of the most prolific dio builder I've ever seen. Every one of them gets better too.

Just a quick tip here guys,next summer when you purchase your next little square of strawberries in that little green plastic basket,save the basket,makes great wrought iron fences,gates and window work!

May I say that different sizes of dowling were used to ornate the walls a little. I wanted everything to look uniform so the building was hand brushpainted a creamy beige colour and washed with a burntumber. The decorative party flags were leftovers from a set of paper air recognition flags in various sizes,soak,drape and ripup as one sees fit.
Sorry the manufacturer escapes me as I`ve had them quite a long time. Pastels were used to blend everything together.

Great one Russ, nice job on the building! Shroomy, the backdrop is just a couple pieces of blueish construction paper that our club Photographer Steve Bamford uses.
