You will most likely not find seats and seat belts for most aircraft as a separate set. Eduard does a PE set for the Catalina in 1/72 and 1/48 that includes seat belts though. For cargo, you can use any boxes and crates in whatever scale you are building. Again, cargo for a specific aircraft is something else you will not find, general boxes and crates you will. Verlinden does a box and crate set in both 1/72 and 1/48 as well, along with may other items; barrels, ration cases, etc. that would also work. You have to be a little creative in your thinking.

I checked out Great Models and the other sites, tool. I spent extensive time browsing and searching the sites. From what I am able to determine, they all (especially Great Models) have great pieces for aircraft and even battlefield dioramas, but nothing more mundane. i'm looking for cargo and seats for a post-war PBY.

I suppose I could rip off a DC-3 kit... Any thoughts?

Thanks for your patience...

Thank you....

I must have been using the wrong search keyword. I really am NOT a newbie at this, even though I'm sure it looks like it.

There are loads of AM companies who offer dio items. What kind of stuff are you looking for? Your question is pretty broad.

See how silly I feel? I am looking for pieces for a post-War aircraft (civilian and military) interior bits (extra seats, etc)

Thanks,
Brian

Try Meteor Productions, CAM Resin and Decals, Cutting Edge Modelworks, Black Box, Eduard, Verlinden, Flightpath, etc. If you go to one of the on-line retailers such as Great models, www.greatmodels.com , and use their search function, just type in the aircrafty type and it will show all products and accessories associated with it that they carry. For example, F-4 brings up 529 items at Great Models.

Resin Accessories/Parts Source?
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, October 20, 2005 9:44 PM
I feel like such a dweeb. Honestly, I have researched this subject both on this and other forums, as well as on the Web. I distinctly remember seeing a site which offered scale resin accessories and parts, particularly for use in dioramas.

While I remember most of the pieces being geared toward auto models, I also recall more generic items. What I can NOT remember is where it was. I can also not find any related information about it anywhere. Maybe I'm using the wrong search keywords.

Help, please?
