Hi guys, thanks for the comments!
The building is a plaster piece with resin roof sections. I painted the building with "antique white" craft paint, the little clay roof pieces were painted with "Georgia Clay" craft paint, and the main roof sections were painted with a craft paint called "Maple Syrup" from Folk Art.
I gave the building a wash of burnt umber, raw sienna and black artist oils, and the dirt runs were the same mix, but in the pure paint form, I added a little dab at the top, and dipped my brush in the thinner, and dragged downward. The dead leaves are Oregano leaves. Groundwork is Earth coloured sanded tile grout, with rail ballast mixed in, and static grass used in the back. The taller grass sections were made with grass purchased from the rail store, I simply pinched a little section, cut with scissors, dipped the bottom in white glue, and planted on the base, and fanned out a bit. Everything pretty much drybrushed with a colour called Mudstone and it's made my Delta Creamcoat.
The veggie crates and baskets plus the barrel are from Custom Dioramics, as are the bottles. The bench, and most of the tools, and compressor are from the Italeri Field Tool Set. The dog is from Tamiya's German Soliders at Field Briefing set. Chickens donated by sasd, the motorcycle is from Tamiya's 88 kit. The fence was made from balsa wood and unused coffee stir sticks, and the tree is a wargaming piece I purchased in Calgary while visiting in May. I painted the tree a light grey, followed by several oil washes, and drybrushing with the light grey again to make the tree old and dead....
