Hi all

Thought I might get your opinion on the groundwork in my latest dio.
The groundwork is not quite finished yet, nor is the Dragon Flammpanzer. I still have to add my figures as well. Hope you like.

Great looking groundwork! The only thing I can see is maybe a bit more weathering on the bridge. But it looks great now!

It looks absolutey great!  However, I must say I do agree with above poster about the bridge.  More wear and tear would make it even better.  Keep up the good work and keep us informed.

Looks very nice.  Can you post a list of materials used and your techniques?  Very well executed.

This looks fantastic. Can you give some detail as to what you did, what are the products you used, the leaves, grasses, etc.

Keep us posted on this one, can't wait to see what the flampanzer looks like.

Hi guys and thanks for the feedback.

Zokissima I used the same old technique of making the rough ground shape with that white styrofoam that comes in new appliance boxes. On top of this I shaped the ground using instant paper mache, similar to Celluclay. Into this I mixed Raw Umber paint and when it had dried I highlighted the road area with Tamiya Flat Earth.

The grass is Real Grass and Green Grass from a company called Dioramaterials. Absolutely the best stuff! I applied this straight onto the base using PVA glue. They also sell bushes which you can see in the gully.

I used rubberised horsehair for the bushy areas.

Hope my figures don't ruin this one, they are my weakest modelling skill!
