for the past oh god i think its been 5 or 6 years now me and 3 friend have been building this dio/display but since i am moving out soon i was told sell it or it goes to the dump!

most of you should remember this diorama from past years i have shown you progess  i have learnt endless amount of tip from everyone here and to answer 1 question i know is going to be asked

Q "why is there no hills and why is it so flat."

A "we started this when we just wanted to play with planes and drive cars  ect plus had limited knowlege of landscaping"

January i'll be 19 so im moving an ive started to do smaller dioramas with more detail, don't worry theres no way im every going to leave finescale!

oh yeah and here are the pix!

thats the end shot everything is 1/72nd/ 76/ Ho scale its also made up of 4: 8X4 sheets of plywood!

my cat lookin to cause some damage they never learn from there mistakes!

the large hangar seen  roughly in the middel had been re-done with a paint scheme inspired by Matrixone (thankyou!)

these were what i was calling 10 minute towers although i have no thime to weather them they were fun to make!

the entrance sign i made 5 years ago sure it look like junk but i dont have the heart to destroy it!

my scratchbuilt flack tower! on the end of the pier the water was done with mono ultra silicone!

sorry for the dirt its seriously suck dusting everything!

Fw-190 d9 (JV44) getting fuel

scratch built spot lights and airfix AA guns (bofors)

please post your comments it would mean alot to me.....

Very cool, must have been fun to play with...I always wanted to build one of these. So you are just trashing it? If you are, what scale is that freighter? If it's HO, or close to it, I can buy it off you, along with any of the other harbor stuff that is removable. This Christmas I am planning on building a new HO train layout, I have been looking for a few ships. Thanks, that thing is amazing.

hey matt90 thanks for the comments as for what im doing with it, its being sold because i simply do not have the room i have a few people that are interested  in it but as you can see its kind of large!

and the frieghter is the Revell 1/72nd scale Flower Corvette its apr 3 ft long and its been sealed to the base with silicone so i would not be able to seperate it safely. you can pick one up from your lhs or squadron.com for around 50-100 dollars though.

thanks

Very cool.  Do you plan to keep it or give it away?

Very impressive, I can immagine you don't having the space to keep it.  One comment though, I'm not sure, but I have the impression that that black feline seems to be out of scale.

Oh man, this is something I've always wanted to do! If I had the cash and the space, this would be at my place! Too bad you were told to sell it or it would be trashed! No respect for all the hard work you've done, that's just not right! I do hope you find a good home for it!
