                        This the first time i have ever bought a Base and need some advice in painting heres the link

                        It would work for you but would most likely be a forward operating base, not the big main bases that were used. Re-arm, re-fuel and minor maintenance only

                        Well i was thinking of takeing three sides and build them up with sand bags as a reventmant but need to find out how big the sand bags need to be.

                        If not already out, Tamiya is making a set of sandbags in 1/48th scale or if you have a 1/35th scale sandbag you could measure and convert it
