Yes, it does look to new and clean. now:

Dirty it up—take all the colors you used, mix them, and make a wash. Use less of the brighter colors, more gray and black.

Cut the gloss completely.

Add oil stains—these should make whatever they cover darker. Newer stains should be semigloss.

Now, here's the real kicker: irregularly darken the outer edges of the lighter stones, and lighten the outer edges of the darker stones.

If this is a war zone, crumble parts of a few, or maybe take one out and make a pothole.

Well here it is. I striped it, made rocks diff like you said and then weathered it. I don't know I thin I like the looks of the first one. It looked more war like Smile [:)]

 Tho this one looks brighter.

I need to do a post on how I made this. Its a lot cheaper then buying them for sure. I think I could make a good brick wall to. Thats another post tho hehehe.

Thanks for the feed back guys

That looks pretty good. Plenty of tonal variation. Details on how you made and painted it please.

That's very good, especially the variation in surface texture of the rocks—looks like a strongly foliated type, like gneiss.

Suggestions:

Depending on scale, stipple some color underneath the mud/grime layer—green, pink, yellow, white, blue, or dark red, etc. Not much, just a little in a fine spatter. Or you might try doing this with pastel chalks or dry brushing.

If the rocks are not all the same, paint each one a different color, brown, dark gray, dark red, buff, yellow white, pale green, medium to dark green.

Vary the width of the joints between the rocks, and may your roadway crack edges a little more irregular.
