In my case tamiya is more expensive compared to dragon, italeri so i would go 4 the model that fits your wallet (italeri in my case). So it is up 2 u 2 decide. I dont actually know who makes the best, but if u hav the skill u can make something cheap look really great. It all depends on how far u want 2 go because in the end they all look the same.

IMHO Dragon makes some of the best plastic figures on the market. They have a very extensive range and the features on the figs are very well defined.

I find the recent figures from Dragon very nicely detailed and affordable, too. Tamiya does not have enough figures to support their armor releases although some kits come with figures.

I would agree with shermanfreak and Dwight Ta-ala, DML/Dragon are very good quality figures and IMHO are in more naturalistic poses than Tamiya's, particularly if you are not into extensive "Frankensteining" (cutting off and replacing heads, arms, legs, etc.) Their separate heads make character changes a snap. Better looking guns and gear too.

I think DML/Dragon makes the best looking plastic figures, but you have to find the figure with the pose that fits what your doing (that is if you don't want to do alot of "Frankensteining")

I'm always looking for figures old or new that I might be able to use. One of the easiest ways to change the look of a figure, I found, is to cut the head off and change it.

Good luck, and DML/Dragon have the best kits. Try using different kits for your dio. One more time take the time to do it right.

"frankensteining" is a fantastic word and sums it all up SO well!!

by the way i think dragon is best for figures, simply because of the wide variety they offer, but i wish they would do loads more infantry sitting on tanks etc, cos i love my armour!!
