casting resin

It'll tell and show you about the process and also on some brands of resin.

One of the reasonably popular brands seems to be Smooth-On, whose products and dealers can be found on www.smooth-on.com 
I have no experience in this whatsoever, yet as I am contemplating doing some casting myself I did some searching the other day. :-)

I use and prefer Alumilite it works fantastic. I found a shop in Queensland that carries it. Great stuff to work with. Try it and you'll see what I mean. Here's the link.

I have used alumilite but I find it hardens more quickly than I would like.  I have also used a product that I order off of e-bay from Hooby Cast.  It takes longer to harder (several hours to truely harden) but it is more forgiving in the long run and I think it fills my molds better.
