hi guys
im just wondering what materials and meathods could i use to make a bitumen road for my diorama
Ne help would be appreciated

First let me welcome you to FSM seeing as this is your first post. I'm not sure what you are going to use this for or what scale. There are some dio products that I have seen in the past that represent what you are looking for.
Would very fine sand paper (black or course) serve your purpose ?

Well this is somebody else's image of what I think you are tyring to make.

You can do what shermanfreak suggested and find sandpaper at your home depot that matches what you are looking for. Paint the sandpaper with stripes, skid marks, etc.

I've used greyish sandpaper on several occasions. It works great. When gluing it down, try to use something else than water-based glue (such as PVA) as it will give you lots of wrikles!

hey muzzleflash.. exactly what is that in the pic. I have done commercial construction work for years and have never seen anything like it. Just curious.

Thanks guys thats really gonna help me since this will be my first attempt at a diorama.
oh yeah by the way im making a bridge diorama with a 1:25 amt ertl ford woody.
