Ok guys, fixed somethings, the turrent I glued so that ain't moving, the figs I repositioned and they do look better. The flag is also glued so I could not move that.

Here are the new pics...

Any and all comments welcome!

Try covering the flag with a few rolled up tarps or a pile of camo netting. On your next dio, try not to glue things down like your turret until you've explored all kinds of positions and scenarios and don't stick on your first poses.   Coming on well though.

Thanks for the comments, but I posted the finished product in the armour forum, and I did correct the poses, and they do look much better now! :D, I left the flag, I just liked the look of it...

The new pics are on the first page, last post...

ajlafleche brings a very good point up. In general, you want to have all your figures facing in a relatively similar direction. The two pairs having conversations are ok, but the commander really should be focused on them. It guides the viewers eye from one end of the dio to the other.

I'd dump the air recognition flag, Anthony. You have a three color scheme on the schlepper. This was introduced in March 1943. It's unlikely a support vehicle would have been quickly camoflaged in the latest scheme right away. In fact, with the snow, you'd be more likely to see it in whitewash over gray at this time. That means, your scene takes place in the winter of 1943-44. The Germans were in defensive posture or retreating at this time and you don't want to advertise your tanks to Stormoviks with a bright flag.

I'd also turn the commander into the scene. As it is, he draws the viewer's eyes away from the focus of the action. The turret, too, would bring the viewer into the scene more it it were turned 90 degrees to the right. As it is, you have a long, powerful, straight line pointing away from the action.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

yes, I would add more tall grass, but make it a bit shorter, and add it more randomly. Most of the ones allready in place look too regularily spaced. They're not in a row, true, but the spacing between them seems to be fairly uniform. Put some short grass right up agains some of the ones planted, and a bit around the road surface, out the outsides of it, and very short sections here and there between the tall grasses.

Good progress. That tall grass should be spread out more randomly IMO.
