Seen.... Okay so what I would then suggest is visit the Train modelling section of the local hobby shop and locate the scenery building section. Ask the owner for Woodland Scenics static grass.

no this is not for the a.t.c. sim. this is going to be a cf-188 (squadron and a or b varient to be decided) on the ramp plus a griffon on the grass behind it.

Curtis;

Your project is a large one if I remember correctly, you could use a couple of methods. One is use the rolled "grass" that is available from any well-stocked Train Shop. The other is brush the length of the apron with an earth coloured paint and apply a fine sawdust (check your yellowpages for a carpentry shop you should be able to get as much as you can sweep off the floor for free) Once the sawdust dries give the entire area a few misting coats with various greens.

how can i simulate the grass on the side of an airports apron in 72nd scale?
